Features
The Scape 39' is a very cost effective Catamaran
for Day Charter operation in terms of capital outlay and operating
costs. In addition, it can be transported in two 40' containers,
thereby reducing delivery costs to most destinations.
It can also be supplied as
a motorised option and fitted with either inboard or outboard engines.
- Designed to accommodate 35 people
on a day charter: the deck layout is designed to seat
35 people, still leaving loads of space on the trampoline. The
large deck area is also ideal for dive charter operation, with
a central storage unit that can be fitted to accommodate dive
equipment. For day charter purposes a semi-circular consol can
be positioned on the deck for additional seating and also act
as a serving and storage area.

- Can be sailed single-handed
from a central Steering Consol: The sheets and track
lines are fed through a duct under the bridge deck to the steering
consol, allowing single handed sailing with the deck area free
from ropes and sheets. This reduces operating costs, as fewer
crew are required.
- High Bridge Deck clearance:
The high bridge deck clearance of over one meter minimises 'slamming'
in rough seas or large swells, increasing comfort and performance.
- Spray Dodger/Bimini:
A Spray Dodger/Bimini can be fitted to owner requirements as
seen in the photo or fitted to standard Scape Yachts designs.
This can be fitted with either windows and canvas on stainless
steel frames, or hard top with Targa wing and platform under
boom with roll up sides and back. We also have port and starboard
Spray Dodgers with gateway to the mast.
- Lifting centre-boards:
Lifting centre-boards dramatically improves upwind sailing performance
but also offers a very shallow draft.
